She's evaluating his behaviour, deems it excessive for the circumstances (or predicts it will be), tells him to knock it off/tone it down/mind his manners, to which he apparently immediately responds and - wow, nicely done, Laika! Some times known as "the sheriff" or "the fun police" some OES bitches (at least it's always been bitches in my experience) have a real strong sense of what is and is not acceptable behavior and run a really tight ship. Sybil's a bit like this and I quite like it if it's in a very measured and appropriate way. Of course, I suppose it could be taken as me not doing my job, but I prefer to think of it as effective delegation of managerial tasks Kristine |
she is for sure the fun police! haha the other day I gave him a bath and we all know how they act once it is done, she does the same thing but she wasn't having any it from him. I took a video http://www.youtube.com/my_videos_edit?ns=1&video_id=1l-KGFwV3ys&next=%2Fmy_videos excuse my voice a got loud at one point. After I turned off the camera and she pulled it again I did get her blanket I had it in the bedroom so she didn't see it. She did go to her blanket off camera haha! Funny "NOW" is like her last result word. Poor Langley, but it makes for a good puppy. If he is being bad and I tell him to stop I usually hear the fun police give a low growl as well. |
Maggie does the same thing to Henry when someone exciting comes to the house. The thing is, Maggie is much more excitable than Henry generally but the slightest show of enthusiasm from him is too much, according to Maggie. I like it because it keeps him in check without my having to do anything. |
