So I'm looking for some tricks to teach Asterisk that she doesn't know. It would be cool to learn some that would help her in her agility, like keeping two paws on the ground and two paws on the A frame when she runs off instead of launching off before she hits the yellow. She knows sit, stay, down (gotten pretty good at that one actually!), kisses, leave it/take it, shake, and wave buh-byes. What is your favorite trick? I think learning the army crawl would be a hoot! |

The only different trick Shamu does is open a water bottel - it's cute |
the crawl is good and excellent exercise. Spin or turn is good. play dead. roll over. sit on their hind legs (beg) excellent for conditioning. I always want to teach them turn out the lights Picking up a toy you call out of a pile? I've seen it done mine don't do it. Oh in my trick book the one where they get a tissue when you sneeze sounds good. And for agility how about jumping through the hoop (your arms) - a good way to end a run under control or playing patti-cake? |

I wish I coul take credit - she learned it on her own. She does it all the time and I can't leave any water bottles laying around |
