Am I the last to finish taxes?
...but I will be up all night trying to put together ms. jillybear's medical bills on excel to count up all our medical miles (anything out of the pocket including miles traveled to visit her while her long stay at the nicu). Cringing at how much her stay cost, but looking at her definitely lets me know she was worth it. Feels so good to almost have this out of the way! Anyone getting a big refund? Plans to spend yet? |

I'm feeling proud of the fact that I've at least sorted all of my recites. Haven't added them up yet, however Gotta stock up on tissues, for the weeping first   |

| With all the flooding, the IRS has granted folks around here an extra month or some such. About 1/2 the years I file quickly, the other half I file near the end. Once a decade I file for an extension. I haven't even opened my papers yet this year. I am sooooo far behind on so many things. Now our car won't start reliably - it happened once about a week ago and just happened again today. Sigh. |
| I'm a little anal about the taxes - everything is at the accountant's on Feb 10 - if I owe or not, they are completed mid February. I either owe a little or sometimes am owed a small amount. I've never had the fun experience of an April 15 midnight drive to the post office. |
Papers are gathered, but just can't seem to get started. We always owe because we have no deductions. Why can't my furbabies have a SSN?  |

| Because of flooding, we were given an automatic extension to May 11th. Nonetheless, I finished our taxes on Sunday. Thanks for sending in your payment as it seems that if I claim you as a dependent I'm entitled to the benefit of that payment so I am getting a refund. With 4,000+ dependents I pay very little in taxes. I will be collecting taxpayer IDs on my way Sing Sing. |
