In the very next moment I thought-- awe. That's not nice. Should I feel bad for enjoying it? HA HA silly I KNOW |

Not if you recharge your batteries and make home coming fun I love it when I have the house to myself - last time was in 2006 I think |
I so enjoy that feeling!! When ANY one of them disappears for an hour or more... it's a weight lifted. One gone really makes a world of difference. I definitely miss them at the same time. If it's the kids, I LOVE grocery shopping without them, but at the same time... I'm sad the entire time I'm gone. ...but I get excited again when I'm in the car and get to listen to something OTHER THAN Disney songs. |
Now that DH is retired, I loooooonnnng for those days! Enjoy every single moment and don't feel bad. |
I don't have kids, but I sooooo enjoy when I get home from work and my BF is walking the dogs........piece and quiet. |
Todd often lets the dogs out in the dog yard when I come home from work. It lets me get in the door with purse, laptop and work tote bag, and set things down before I am greeted by the happy wave of dogs. But otherwise, it is just too quiet. My quet time is evening, when Todd goes to bed (earlier than me) and dogs and cat are all just lounging around. |
