1 package of yellow or white cake mix (you want one WITHOUT pudding already in it, and that's usually Duncan Hines) 3.4oz pkg INSTANT vanilla pudding mix 3.4oz pkg INSTANT butterscotch pudding mix (you can substitute with another box of vanilla or cream cheese pudding mix!!) 4 eggs 1C water 1C oil 1C packed dark brown sugar 1T cinnamon 1C chopped walnuts/pecans (optional) Optional frosting: 1T milk 1/2C powdered sugar Dump in ziplock bag, cut off corner, and squeeze over cake Oven 350. Greast 9X13 baking pan or 10" bundt pan Stir together cake, pudding mixes. Add eggs, water, oil until completely mixed. In another bowl, stir together brown sugar, cinnamon, nuts. Pour just enough batter to cover bottom. Put 1/3 of brown sugar mix. Pour more batter. Another 1/3 of brown sugar mix. Rest of batter ...then top with the rest of your brown sugar mix. Bake 20 min then turn oven down to 325 and bake for 35-40 min. (I had to bake 45 min min and my oven is fast) Put optional frosting or sprinkle some powdered sugar on top. |
