 ......the sound of multiple champagne corks popping in various parts of the Midwest today?  When a certain someone sobers up from celebrating - could take a day or two from the sound of it  - one hopes she will share so I don't have to sit here like this       WITHOUT BEING ABLE TO TELL YOU THE WHO, WHERE & WHAT! | Well, here is the big announcement ................ after 23 attempts on our 24th time.............................. Harry and I Q'd in Novice Standard in Agility!!!!!!!!!!!!  ...................................................... ..... ....... I will post the boring details for those interested in Advanced Tricks and Behaviors later! But for those who have been following us since National's 2007 ........ He even SAT on the table! (That has cost us a Q at least three times!!!!!!!!) A smarter person probably would have given up by now but I couldn't throw in the towel on my boy. So I guess good things WILL come to those who WAIT! I am still in a state of shock. I actually had to ask someone who was standing near the exit ringside ... "Did we just Q?"  |

| Oh, thank God you finally posted!!! I spoke to Judi before that run. She was questioning if she should come back for it since there were hours in between runs and her son was in town and might, you know, like to spend that time with her but I ruthlessly said: "run him!" Everything she had told me about their runs leading up to this class told me they were this close to Q'ing and I just had a feeling they would, so when she called me it was a sort of anti-climatic <??> confirmation of what I had been thinking and she was rather under-impressed by my level of enthusiasm , but really I just wasn't that surprised. But I was very, very happy for them. CONGRATULATIONS! and many more to come... <no pressure... >Stupid is doing the same thing that isn't working over and over and over again. You picked every part of his performance that was getting in his way of qualifying apart and step by step rebuilt it, some of it from scratch. That's a trainer. I'm so proud of you guys  Kristine |
