Goodby, My Dear, Dear Boy
I read the "Rainbow Bridge" and was comforted by it. Thanks to whoever included it on the website. I can see my Georgie running through those fields with his bounding gait, his ears flapping and with a big smile on his beautiful face. After reading the story, I have to believe that there is a place in heaven for our dogs. If for no other reason, they deserve to be there for the unconditional love they give us, during their all too short lifetimes. I look forward to the day that he stops his cavorting with his new friends, turns and stares into the distance and sees me coming. What joy I will experience, when he runs excitedly up to me and knocks me down, showering me with his sloppy kisses. I can't wait! Thank you all in advance for any support you give me, during this painful period. |
