Wish I could help and look forward to some receipes. I made my dogs a "special doggy" cake last year, following a dog recipe from somewhere. It called for chicken lives mashed up, etc. It was HORRIBLE! The dogs sniffed it and ran away This year we went to the dog backery and got some professional dog cupcakes! |
Chauncey usually gets a twinkie with a candle, and sheepie icecream. I found that recipe on here. Sheepie Ice Cream 32 oz of vanilla yogurt 1 mashed banana ( I usually use 2, it taste better) 2T peanut butter ( I use chunky and usually a bit more ) 2T honey Blend above and freeze in icecube trays or I use 1/2 c. plastic container's with lids I found in the baby section at I believe Target. They're used for leftover baby food. I also have a recipe that I picked up when we visited Cabot Cheese last fall. Cheesy Bonies 8 oz Cabot reduced fat cheddar, shredded 1/2 c. Smart Balance margarine 1/4 c. egg beaters 1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour 1 1/2 c. wheat germ pinch of salt 2 T. skim milk Blend the cheese, margaine and egg beaters together with mixer on high. Stir in the flour, wheat germ, salt and milk, mixing well. Store in fridge in plastic bag for 1 hr. Roll out onto a floured surface to 1/4" thick. Use bone shaped cookie cutter to cut. ( I would think you could use any cutter roughly the same size ). Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 15-18 mins. I have not made the recipe for Cheesy Bonies yet but have made a similar recipe that came with my cookie cutter. Happy Birthday Frankie |
I gotta see if Joan would like to try this. I'm not asking Mulligan. |
