Poor Dee...welcome home.
She's home and doing well but let's say vet care in other countries isn't as well as here. At least not as far as Ft. Collins is concerned! CSU has the BEST Vet School in the whole USA and puts out the BEST Vets that there are. We are blessed in this part of the country. There was 1 (ONE) REAL vet in the town where i was living in Mexico. Queretaro was 40 min away with vets too, but let's just face it. NO ONE was as good as the vets here in the USA. *I* knew more than the vet's down there. I took Dee in for a Pre-Breeding Checkup. I also decided that it was time for teeth cleaning and she had 2 lumps that needed to come off. She also had had a small sore on her 'bottom'. I told the vets there that it was an anal gland problem. I was told No, it was just from sitting on the rough stone floor we had in the house. *I* was right. So she had that emptied out and flushed out today as well. Along with a skin tag on her bottom. Poor thing has a sore mouth, stitches on her neck upper shoulder, back upper hip and a sore bum. She still did the 'happy dance jump' for mom.. and is home with me resting well. She has her 'monkey man' sucking his brains out tonight. Vet said all should be well, but they went out to hystology anyway... won't even begin to tell what the price of all of this was. After talking with our vet, I did purchase Insurance which i have never had before on the animals. Thank goodness!! |

| update. Dee is quite the trooper. She always has been bless her heart! You would never know anything had been done except the 2 spots where her lumps were removed! Dr. Called and she has a urinary tract infection too. But she is on the road to recovery and doing well. Thanks all for your kind wishes for my girl!!! |
