Which is the best dog food for an OES?

I live in the UK and have just changed molly (14 months) onto Wainwright Dry dog food (Pets at homes own) she has this mixed in with a little wet same make or JWB. Money is a consideration hence why i have her on this. I wondered if this the best i can get around this price range.

She is doing well on this i must said- just want to know what others feel. I also give her fish oil capsuals and a flexi joint tablet everyday (from vitfits at health span).

Would be nice to hear what other people do.

Look forward to reading your post!

Honestly, ask 10 people what they feed and you'll get 10 different answers :) Gabriel will only eat ProPlan, Zachary likes Nutro Ultra Adult, and Rosco eats Nutro Ultra Senior. Jonah will eat either. Sometimes I mix these with Merrick or Eagle Pack. They all have their favorite add -ins, one likes cheese, one cottage cheese, one hard cooked eggs and one will eat almost anything. They don't get this at every meal but they do get ground turkey or chopped chicken breast, once in a while some canned food although they aren't overly fond of it. I think the best food for your dog is one they thrive on and will eat. Your dog doesn't care how much the food costs if they hate it :D
One thing to bear in mind is to ensure that whatever food you do decide to use make sure there is no corn listed as one of the ingredients. Corn in dog food is of no nutritional value and is difficult for your pet to digest.

Hi from the UK as well, I feed Summer (2 year old oes) on arden grange. A bag lasts her about 10 days and cost about £7. Arden grange is one of the best uk foods as is James Wellbelove and Burns. She also has cooked peas, cooked pasta and veggies. I will copy the ingredients in your dog food and post it on another site I am on as one girl on that is a pet nutriotinist and see what she says. Welcome to the forum by the way. Have we seen any photos? :clappurple:
Cheers for doing that! Checking out where to get arden grange from now- May give it a go. Thankyou.

With the photo thing- i keep uploading them then cant find them- will keep on trying!

Rachael - if you go to one of your posts, click on the camera icon in the lower right corner. I see you have 3 cute pictures there!

Also, they should be visible under "my photos" located at the top of each page in the header banner.
Thanks!
After i posted that message i found them- however i cant get a little one like you at the side with every post. All my Photos seem to be too large :(
Hopefully will work it out soon

If you right click on one of the little pictures (thumbnail size) in your album - go down to the bottom and click on "properties". Then highlight the URL address and copy/paste it into the URL spot on the profile page. Hope that makes sense!
:clappurple: :clappurple: :clappurple: email arden grange say you have been recommended to them from people on an open university dog forum and can you please have some samples. say what sort of dog you have and Nessie will send you lots of goodies. She is also good at answering health questions, give it a go!

ps your photos of Molly are lovely x
We cook for my guy...it's a lot of work, but we manage to cook once every two weeks. Ratio is 60% veggies (carrots, green and yellow beans, sweet potatoes, broccoli), 10% ground beef 30% rice. We alternate the ground beef with chicken. Veggies and rice get boiled in water and the meat cooked with no oil.
Tommy is 3 years old and since we switched him to natural food, he looks slim, fit..he can run a lot better and longer at the park, a lot more energy...also he's never had any other problems with diarrhea..AND the mouth stains disappeared ..all in all he is a much happier, healthier dog.

We compensate with vitamins as well: centrum, omega 3, fish oils..
