lol this forum never ceases to amaze me, I have never, and i mean NEVER seen a sheepy in my part of indiana after a couple pm's, seems that not only are me and rosiesmom in the same area, we live in the same town!!!! what are the chances lol hopefully we can set a play date for the two of them, i think this would help tecumseh out soooo much since we got him so early |
Hi Rosie's mom.
Welcome to the forum! I'm Marianne and mom to three dogs and four cats. You're going to love it here. Your little one is a bit young to think of breeding as you have three more years to go...allowing to check for any genetic defects which she may pass on to her babies... hip checks and that kind of thing are not apparent until age three which is when she should be bred. OES are prone to this gentic defect. Until then, enjoy your baby and please don't hesitate to ask for advice and ohhh Pictures...we want pictures!!! Six months is the age when most sheepies are noticably grey as they start blowing their puppy coat but it continues for several months after. I think it's awesome you already found a friend in the same town! That's great and hope your playdates are a lot of fun. Marianne and the boys |
Welcome to the forum, Rosie's Mom! You will love it here, and will learn a LOT!! Please post pictures when you can!
