| We lost her. Kindell passed away yesterday. My son is flying in (he is 23) to stay for a couple of months and help. There are two boys 6 & 7 and a 14 year old girl. The Father has to travel for work. It is going to be a incredibly hard situation for all. All of your prayers are GREATLY appreciated. Our whole family is devastated. |

 I am so very sorry. This is horrible for your whole family, but especially your niece and nephews. I am so sad for your family It is nice your son can help out. One thing to consider for long term after your son needs to leave is a live in nanny. It is not neccessarily that expensive, and may actually be cheaper than daycare. My daughter Lisa did this for 4 years while going to college and it was a great thing for both her and the families. Her last family was a single dad with 2 school aged sons. Lisa was there when they came home from school, supervised their after school and evening activities and drove them places when needed, and was listed as their emergency contact while dad was at work. | I am just following thispost and so sorry for your loss My heart and prayers go out to you and your family.....I ditto what someone said about a nann versus daycare. People don't realize a live in can cost as much if not less as day care and they help with so much more...I'm sure you ar not thinking of that right now but keep it in the back burner.... | Thanks so much everyone. The shock is starting to abate somewhat. Now I am just in the anger phase. She had an allergic reaction and her throat closed up. They live quite a ways from the hospital, in the country. She ended up without oxygen for 50 minutes. CPR didn’t do it. Everyone has risen to the occasion beautifully. Still many hard days ahead, but the crying has slowed. I can’t wait to hug Maggie on Thursday. Puppy kisses are balm for the soul. |

| They don't know what she reacted to. We may never know. She had asthma, but had never had a reaction like this. She came downstairs, told her husband to call 911, that she was having an allergic reaction, and then collapsed. |

| We are finally home. It only took 25 hours, thanks DELTA! Kindell's family has rallied. Her and her husbands best friends will be there for three weeks. Her mother is retiring and moving in to help raise the children. I am humbled by their generosity. We will all continue to try to make sense of all of this. On the upside, seeing Maggie when I got home was bliss. She grew about 50 feet! My wigglebum made me smile.  |
