Totally bummed

I was thinking today 8O , I still have painful sciatica, and I have gallbladder surgery coming up on April 12th.

I wanted to start with Simon's new agility class...tomorrow.

With the sciatica it would be HARD to run, it hurts to walk. I'm thinking gallbladder surgery will put me down for at least two weeks.

I can't do the new agility class...totally, totally bummed.

That IS a bummer :(

How about summer? You should be feeling better by then.

I have lower back problems that flare up periodically and have run anyway and it is not fun...never mind recovering for surgery 8O Get well first.

Is your back any better?

Feel better!!

can you do anything with him - obedience or a foundations class? I have arthitis in my spine and keeping active helps. but running isn't always easy. I also have found that an occassional 6 weeks of something else helps keep us fresh.
That is sad :(
How many weeks is your class? And yes, how bad is the back pain? A sudden move or twist could really make things worse, so it may be (sadly) best to wait....
The sciatica does not affect my back, yet. It hurts mainly in my butt and down the back of my leg. I was talking to a co-worker and did a little twist to get something and scared the heck out of her because she could tell by the look on my face that I should NOT have done that.

Simon and I are still in the CGC class and thats something but, darn I really wanted to do that agility class
Sorry to hear about your health issues. Hope your surgery goes well and the sciatica settles.

As you know I can sympathise with your frustration re not being able to start Agility when you want to, but as Dawn mentioned you can do other 'easier on you physically' stuff and you might even find it a helps get you both really ready for agility.

I think having to wait for Tiggy and my class is really a blessing in disguise. Tiggy has really settled in the last 2 months and is actually managing to focus on me for more than very brief moments, so I think we'll learn more with less frustration now that we've finally gotten into an agility class.
Pam, I am sorry you are in pain. :(

It is disappointing to have to sit on the sidelines when you were looking forward to agility. I think Kerry's idea of obedience class is a great idea. When your CGC class is finished maybe you can take another obedience class of some kind. Harry just loves to go to any class and it helps keep us connected as a team.
