While researching pain meds for my dog this site popped up with info regarding Tylenol vs. aspirin for dogs. A post appeared which mentioned acetomenaphen as a preferred medication for cats. Having just read several vet sites re toxicity of these meds just want all to know acetomenaphin (ie. Tylenol) is extremely poisonous for cats (worse than aspirin) and aspirin will quickly build up in a cat's body and reach toxic levels. One pill's ingredient is still present 48 hours later. Sometimes, as I came to the conclusion after my research, we just need to spend the bucks for a trusted vet to get the best results and care for our pets. |
