The Difference between a Molly Screw and a Toggle Bolt
Of course, I THINK they are the same thing as a toggle bolt... but I'd hate to "ruin" my home improvement project if I was wrong. ...and is it two words or one word? ( toggle bolt or togglebolt ??) Thanks! |

My dad always called them Mollys and my Dad knew everything!

| Toggles are spring loaded and expand, and later fall into the wall when removed, Molly bolts on the other hand expand and contract as your turn the bolt into it, thus behing easier to remove and reusable. They work about the same as the toggles, but i think may hold a little less weight (but that depends on the size they are). |
