What do you envy about your dogs I think I might envy their staff of dietician (me); cleaning person (me); valet (me); personal trainer (yep me); secretary (um hum); driver (getting tired ); and their spa days! |

One word: NAPS Nothing makes me sleepier, or more envious, than coming into the house for a break to see both dogs curled up all warm and comfy and fast asleep! |
I can tell you that I DON'T envy the fact that mine can lick their own butts. My husband may... |
I envy the gorgeous hair (no matter how messy it is) and the hours of grooming. I want someone to brush my hair for 4 hours a week too! |
OMG - I don't know where to start! Naps, no alarm clocks, hair brushing, classes and sports, outings, free rides places, no cooking, doing dishes or house cleaning, it goes on and on! Todd has always said if he came back in another life, he wants to be one of our dogs.... |
I love how they think that everyday w/you is just the best day ever. They always see the sunshine! I also like how they don't have any guilt about any of the treats they consume! |
I'm envious that my dogs humans will contort around them if they find a really good sleeping position on the bed, just so that they don't get disturbed. (Last night Wendel had the pillows and Asterisk was at the foot, I had no idea I was as flexible as I was to fall asleep amongst them). |

I envy that they can LOVE unconditionally and never holding a grudge. They live always in the PRESENT. |
my dogs have a very good life; I want someone to feed me only healthy foods, make sure I get enough exercise, love on me around the clock, and look to my every need. |
I'm with Todd!!! I've always said I want to come back as a dog as long as I get an owner like me. I usually farewell the dogs who are either asleep in the sun or in their warm beds with "Bye, I'm just off to earn the dog food now, dont bother yourselves to get up and say goodbye". |
My hubby is with Todd too, he wants to be re born as one of the dogs here, better fed, more attention, fussed over big time etc etc, Todd, david agrees with you I always laugh when the boys get home from work, Hmmmmm something smells yummy for dinner, NOT its the dogs dinnys cooking |

Mmmm, let's see. My dogs eat better than me, sleep better than me, are groomed better than me, have more toys than I do.....I'll just say maybe they should be more grateful |

I know I posted a reply last night, in the wee hours, but who knows where it ended up. I was pretty zonked. I fully admit that I miss my dogs when I'm at work. And, frequently, in the afternoon (that period right after lunch known as the dark hole of learning) I think about them and I envy them. I know they are fast asleep on the bed, paws in the air, happy as can be. The water bowl is full. Tummies are happily finishing up digesting breakfast, and all they have to do is bark at the mailman (or not, if they're too comfy to bother). I would love to come back as one of my dogs. They live the perfect life. No bills to pay, kibble on a regular schedule, treats galore (blueberry pumpkin wheat free to be exact...sheesh), and an overabundance of tummy rubs. So you put up with the occasional brushing, ear cleaning, and nail trim. Big deal. As a human I wouldn't mind someone doing all that for me. |

They were completely unimpressed KB Me too! They just ignored me, its the way things are supposed to be as far as their concerned. And besides the walks arent long enough in their opinion. They should only finish when the dog says they should finish. |
Ah, let's not forget someone to wipe your behind for you when needed |
