I would just wing it for now, there is a thread on show training somewhere, and if you follow a link there is an amazing hour and a half long video you can watch online of a trainer showing people how to show. It's awesome.
In Canada we can't show a pup til it is at least 6 months of age.... but at that age judges are fairly lenient since puppies are puppies, and also you can ask for some tips from some of the experienced people there. I can't wait to hear all about it, that is so exciting! A puppy coat doesn't need as much to get it in show shape. It needs to be very clean, and absolutely mat free. |

You will have a great time, judges love puppies Don't worry about stacking at first, just enjoy it and let Murphy have fun. It has been my experience that that it's better to have the bath a few days before the show so the coat isn't so soft, but worry about that later. Good luck and take pictures to post. |
