We go back in 2 weeks for another check up. After that appt we have to start strengthening with up hill walks, longer walks for a month. Then in May get the second shoulder done. By this time next year his whole little body should be fixed. (not getting my hopes up) Lisa and Frankie |

Dear Lisa and Frankie Forgive me and my Frankie for not following as closely as we should but what exactly was/is his problem? I never saw the original post but have seen the others and like everyone else have been so concerned about your little guy's well being. I am so glad ( and Frankie down here too!) that he is on the mend Once again sorry for the ignorance and is you want just link to a post so you do not have to re-live the whole ordeal. My Frankie boy sends your his regards and best wishes... |
I too have not been aware of his shoulder surgery. What did he have OCD? My Gigi had both shoulders operated on and is doing great! Hope all is well. So sorry I have not seen this sooner,. |
What a great Mama you are! I am so glad he is doing well. |
For those who haven't seen the other posts. My Frankie has ocd in both shoulders and severe hip dysplasia. He's 11 months old today. His left hip is barely connected to his pelvic bone. As strange as this might sound to some people we believe we found him for a reason, or should I say he found us for a reason. So are plans are to do whatever we can to mend his little body. He had an accupuncture appt today, and the vet really thinks it is taking away some of his tenderness, and he does seem to be walking up the few steps to get into the house better. Thanks for asking and sending your hugs. Lisa and Frankie |
Good news and all the best for frankies next op. |
Way to go Frankie! Glad he is one the mend! And to you, thank God Frankie found you as his Mommy who is willing to do all of this for him!!!!! Hope things stay on the positive course they seem to be in!!!! |
So sorry to hear about Frankie. My Gigi had OCD in both shoulders. She had arthroscopic surgery on both shoulders at the same time. She is doing great. Hope Frankie is doing well. I know it is not easy. You are a wonderful mom! |
Lisa We had no idea! As stated a hundred times before our hearts go out to you and Frankie...oh and this Frankie said something to the effect of Tell the kid not to worry, it'll get better, just take it easy- or something like that, he had a pair of dirty socks in his mouth running through the room with my wife in tow as he said this... Have a great evening and kisses to Frankie! |
