Lucky aka-The Dogfather-Head of the Sheepdog Mafia
Last year we had two tumors removed and then one of his back legs went. This past week when he could no longer stand up on his own it was time. He is now pain free and at the Rainbow Bridge with so many others. The Sheepdog Mafia will never be the same without him as the Dogfather. |

| I saw the title before I saw what forum it was in and I was excited to hear news of Lucky's latest adventures. Alas. I am so sorry for you loss but also gratified to know how you changed his life -- and how he changed yours. Lucky all around. His is an inspiring rescue story that will hopefully encourage others to do the same. I know you will miss him but the great memories will always live on.

My heart goes out to you and your family at this time, as many of us know it is very painful when we must let go and the grief is sometimes overwhelming, and we also know that we will resurface after the grief in search of our next sheepie friend...
