did you track them down? |
ha, you just reminded me of the day i was going up our town's strip. there were some sheepies around, but very few. my uncle, who had a gremlin car and a giant red irish setter who always was an attraction sittin upright in front seat or also hangin out passenger window was driving towards me. much too my wondering eyes was a monster sheepie also in his gremlin bouncin from open back window to the back seat.
i thought omg, he's gone over the edge. turns out he found him runnin loose and found rightful owner later that day. just a side note, cause it always cracked me up and astonished me, it was over 30 yrs ago. his alpha siamese male who hunted nightly across the street in the jungle and brought his trophies back to my uncle and aunt's bed was run over and pretty much fubar. my uncle took him to cornell,n.y. and they rebuilt him, whereas i affectionately called him the six-million dollar cat from then on. a very happy ending. |
apparently there has been a woman frequenting our dog park with two sheepdogs. Its KILLING me that I keep missing them. Everyone at the park keeps asking if I've seen them yet; and telling me how their dogs will race up, mistaking them for Tonks and Luna! Their dogs get right up to the other OES and sort of go" Hey,this isn't Tonks and Luna" and wander away, confused. |
We drove past these folks with the 2 sheepies, and it was too late to track them down as we were on a roundabout!! |
