How is Frankie? I've been wondering about your baby all day. |
Hi everyone. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
Just spoke to the vet. All went well, Frankie is just starting to wake up. We did the left shoulder first. It seemed to bother Frankie more than the right, even though the xrays showed it wasn't all that bad. The vet said it was the worst shoulder he had ever seen. The divet in the bone was the size of a quarter and very deep. The bone was all discolored and full of junk. They cleaned it all up, and irrigated it. There were no flaps or any floaties. They re-xrayed the hips and the vet says the are absolute junk. He will talk to us when we pick him up later tomorrow. I will keep you posted tomorrow. One side at a time. Thats all we can do. Thanks Lisa |
So glad he came through this one ok. Will continue to keep you in our thoughts and prayers as you deal with this situation. Poor Frankie--give him extra hugs and kisses. |
