Dog Sledding

We I took the sled out for a test run yesterday. Got a couple mintues of them working well together. Hard to do because it would work better if I had someone ahead coxing them forward. Then Laika lost interested and puttered along occasionally eating snow. So I took the boy out without her. I helped by pushing but a couple times I let him do it by himself and he can pull me!

The only annoying thing is I have to take them up my drive way in the car get out and walk down my neighbours drive way. I have invisible fence so they wont and shouldn't go on the lake from the yard. oh well not cheating isn't worth it.

Sounds like fun. :D

Yes a pain to go around the fence, but I agree, no other choice! It is easier to have something in front to get them going.
In the ideal world we would have experienced lead dogs and life would be so much simpler!!! It took FOREVER to get Chewie and Gabby going out independantly. One day it was like a  went off, thank goodness!
