I do alot of thinking on how I am ever going to afford to fix his hips with replacements when the time does come. So why not video tape his antics and send them to funniest home videos? If you have ever watched the show it is pretty funny. You never know maybe they would think he's as funny as we do. Maybe we would win. Just kind of thinking out loud. Lisa and Frankie |

That could work.
Other ideas: Every day, I toss my change into an old glass battery (it's real, but empty) - amazing how quickly it adds up I put aside several hundred a month for dog expenses. Do what you can afford. I keep a minimum of 3,000 set aside for emergencies, the rest goes for normal vet visits and food. Give up something - a daily Starbucks or lunch out, whatever. Put the money you've saved aside. |
I do that with change also. In additon I save all my singles, they add up fast. I have a friend whose cat needed surgery so she started using coupons for groceries and putting it aside. Some weeks she saved $40 on stuff she was buying anyway. Not a ton but it really helped her save something. |
i hate change in my pocket and have been fillin a large bottle forever, it holds $300. if that was put aside often enough....................
it was supposed to become law years ago that my youngest and i not be allowed in a grocery together, but it never passed. we buy everything mom said no to. |
I save change and G dollar bills. If the time ever comes when I need emergency cash...I know where to look. |

I never use change, always save it - it really builds up. I also put a dollar away a day, so with the change and $365 a year, it's nice. I'll be a multi millionaire someday - |
I'm very impressed with the creative savings techniques! |
