Do you have any dry ear cleaner? Our vet told us to use that when we took the dogs swimming at the lake, as soon as they got out of the water, to avoid ear infections. |
Did they pluck her ears? If so, she may be shaking them from that. |
I don't have any dry ear cleaner but I will look into it. She didn't have her ears plucked. The groomer looked at her ears that morning and thought they looked good. I guess that I have been lucky in the past and just have not had this problem before. |
If the groomer cleans my dogs ears, they come home and shake their heads a few times. I think it feels sore or "naked" in there. I alwys drop a tab bit of panalog in the ears after grooming. It seems to soothe them and within a day, the head shaking stops.
I might add however, sometimes if an infection was brewing, the cleaning can cause it to surface so if the head shaking continues for more than a day, a visit to the vet might be in order. |
Presuming hair plucked from the ear canal is making her shake her head.
They can do that for a day or so after, if no improvement after that then have a vet take a look. You might need ear drops to help, might be a bit inflammed. |
