Update:
Troy just called, the ER has to redo everything the urgent care did. They told him he has bought himself an overnight stay. He wants me to stay here in Michigan. He's a workaholic and hopes to be out by his meeting tomorrow at 9:00 am. WHATEVER!!!!!!! MEN LISA AND FRANKIE |
Lisa, I'll be thinking of you and Troy tonight and saying a prayer that it's just a muscle spasm. Please keep us posted. |
oh my; I'd be worried sick. I'm glad he had the common sense to take himself into the hospital (even if they didn't od everything right the first time).
Best wishes from us to you!!! |
I hope all goes well tonight.
And I'm willing to bet he won't make the 9am meeting. |
All my best thoughts and prayers are with you.

There are some simple tests to tell if he is having blood clot/pulmonary embolism from simple blood work. D-Dimer test. Pulmonary embolism does not necessarily show up on EKG. Also symptomatic is fast heart rate.
Hope the outcome is good. Glad he went to ER. Don't want to mess around with those symptoms. |
How scarey!!!
Hope all is going well. |
I hope your hubby is feeling better this morning. crossing fingers. |
Hope things are better today with your husband. How frightening for him to be so far away. Sounds like a short stay is the best place for him, can't be too careful with those symptoms. |
Good Morning:
Troy's hospital stay was relatively short. All the test came back fine. They decided it was pleurisy. They gave him an IV of pain meds and anti-inflammatories for about a half an hour and sent him on his way. He has a prescription to get filled this morning and of course he's on his way to his meeting. Sometimes I wonder what to do with that man. lol Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers. What a relief.

Ouch! That's painful! Glad it wasn't something more serious......not that pain with every breath is OK. |
Wow.
Yay! |
Glad everything turned out ok.
Going to his meeting: Thats a man for you!! |
I know you are relieved. Glad all is ok. |
I always think pleurisy is an old-timey disease that only people from the 1800s got. But I've heard of several people nowadays that have had it. Fingers cross for an uneventful recovery. |
Glad he is okay. How scary. |
Pleursy? My Mom had pleusry once. She was in a lot of pain in her back. She was breathing okay but her lower/mid back was killing her. Ended up to be pleursy... Its similiar to phemonia. Of course my Mom was elderly and it took a toll on her.
Please tell him to monitor himself. Any shortness of breath or heaviness should be checked. Hope he feels better...and makes his meeting! |
