February is National Heart month! Learn CPR, with a firend and/or loved one. You might save a life. Learn about taking care of yourself and live better and longer. And men can show their support by wearing red too! |

| I am glad RED and Blue go so well together. We are wearing BLUE today in memory of a 15 yr old who passed as a result of Lung Cancer. He fought a hard fight. Nick wanted to be like everyone else, and it was the highlight of his young life to be able to attend high school and feel like one of the kids. He was a wonderful young man with enough life in him to sustain 20 people, unfortunately his lungs would not allow it.
Nick wanted to be just a regular kid and fit in with the others. He went to a local High School. He would walk the halls with his BLUE bookbag. He often wore blue also. Nick enjoyed school and had a wonderful experience in high school, He came home one day very Happy and proud to say he had a nickname, 'Blue", and that the 'big kids' gave it to him. RIP "BLUE" |
Sadly, I wore neither red nor blue today.  |
