Anyway he comes upstairs, from the basement as I was brushing Gar, who promptly jumps off the table to go to my bro. My bro talks to him and Gar goes all gooy eyed and almost rolls to his back , very very submissive. We've had him since he was 2.5yrs old, he's now 4.5yrs old and I've NEVER seen him act this way with ANYONE. I was staring at the dog with my mouth hanging open and asking "What did you do to my dog?" My brother just said "He likes me" |

Some of mine have special people like that.
Sybil has worshipped Sunny from day one and has jumped ring gating to get to her. Liz gets all goey for certain men. It's embarrassing. Kristine |
Mysterious and scary basement troll rat...?
Or.... He'll make friends with ANYBODY--- PLEASE save me from this grooming!! |
Every single dog I've ever had does exactly that with our vet. He's kind, gentle, but just has a presence.
No matter how horribly Hudson (evil puppy) acts in the waiting room, as soon as our vet even looks at him Hudson settles, puts his head down, and looks up at him with adoring puppydog eyes. Hudson loves our vet, but more importantly (and shockingly) he respects him. I sure wish I could bottle that! He'll do anything that man tells him to do. No fuss, no bother. Isn't it funny how some people just have that magic quality? |
Neither of my dogs whine. But there is one guy at work and one girl. That Laika especially goes crazy for and she whines. Not for me if I leave them for a day and come home I just get a lot of bouncing. |
