The sores are infections from all this and I need extra vitiamans. ( not eating ) On top of this I might have boarderline sugar. My blood ran only 100 but he said this might also cause my legs to swell and leek. . Wants to to keep my legs up at night above my heart. It is late and I am in alot of pain so fogive spelling ect. |

That's great news! I was
worried for you, now I'm happy that you have a chance to heal. Eat something! |
Are you ill and not hungry from the illness or are you ill because you cannot eat? If the later, you may need extra help to over come eating disorder. In mean time, whatever you eat, make it super nutritious......no junk....especially if your sugar is high. Can you get a few teaspoons of cereal down.....then make it something like Total, not Captain Crunch. Green leafy veggies and super nutritious speciality breads, simple proteins. Veggies and be careful with the fruits. Could be once your health back your glucose/insulin will straighten out. A lot of those antibiotics and interefere with blood sugar.
Feet high! Friend, a retired PA, suggested drawing the alphabet with your feet while reclining. I do both block and cursive forward and backward alphabet. |
Deanna,
I'm glad you got mostly good news. As for the eating, like Susan said, make sure everything you eat is nutritious. Add olive oil to things. Add cheeses to things. Nuts are good too. Take care of yourself! |
Hope all is better soon....
At least you did get some good news! |
You want to gain good weight(muscle), not fat, so plan on a steady weight gain.
It's totally against what we consider good eating habits, but when you eat and are full, make yourself eat one or two extra bites. It does add up. Sometimes it is easier to eat a smaller amount, more often. |
All good advice! Take care of yourself! |
