All the teeth should have been in long ago, I would say by six months usually.
It may be something stuck in his teeth, or maybe some anxiety chewing. Has anything changed when you noticed this behavior? Maybe just bored? |

Seems like all the teeth are in. He is a master at picking up twigs, etc. So we will double check, make sure there is nothing stuck in his teeth. Have not changed his daily routine, only difference is we are changing his puppy food to adult. |
That may be it actually. He may be craving more calories that he is used to, more protien etc that he got from puppy food.... he'll probably adjust fine though... as long as he is chewing things you want him too it's all good! LOL

The kibble change just might be it !
He has plenty of chew toys (nylabones etc), so hopefully our stairs will be safe !!! |
