It sort of makes me sad. I have lots of fond memories of getting birthday cakes for Mopsy and now Harry. Those goofy dogs of ours LOVED their birthday cake every year. I think Harry knows the word "cake". Mopsy's was always peanut butter flavored and Harry always got a carob (dog version of chocolate) flavored. When I texted my son Jack, he seemed a little sad too. I think for the same reason, because he, Tim or Brian would be the one to pick up the cake, often with the dog so it was just part of his "growing up with the dog memories". I used to take Heart there after obedience classss at Support Dogs ~~she would pick out her own treat and then treats for the other two at home~~~~ How sad! There are just a handful of shops now...CWE, Soulard, ?????? so saddddddd... (Guess you will have to whip up something great for Harry's next birthday party))..... |
We have a Three-Dog Bakery here in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, they boys love love love going there.
