hello from the Chicagoland area

Hi ,my name is Jeri Hoppe. i thought I'd take a minute to introduce myself to the group. Some of you already know me, but for those that do not here are the cliff notes. I am a professional groomer in the nw burbs of Chicago. I have been grooming since 1981. I have OES of my own that we show in confirmation. Currently my daughter is showing an OES in junior handling(yes to those that know her, she's already 9yrs old). I'm a member of the local and Nat'l OES clubs and for many years have volunteered for our local rescue. I would be happy to answer any questions about grooming, I have probably groomed more oes than most groomers I know(about 25-30 a month). There are a few people that I can think of that have done more. Boy, who wants to win that race!! I recently groomed a list members' dog "Frank" to a class first, but disappointed to say we did not win Best Groomed Dog. Oh well maybe next time. That's it in a nut shell. see you on the board.

It's about time Jeri! :twisted:

Frank never looked so good (even while I was showing him) and had so many fans. There was a parade of people taking photos during the competition. We had a blast and you get to experience first-hand how crazy groomers really are!

watched the video, Deb!!! thanks for the info. I made the entire family watch it. I must admit, Frank looks better than my own dogs. I love that shot of him.
