That age is the most crucial age in a pups life. He needs to learn to be a dog, before he can properly acclimate to learnign to be a family member. Many pups taken at this age develop behavior and anxiety problems, but many turn out just fine. As long as you are aware of the challenges and do your best to help him learn things he should still be learning with his littermates, things should turn out ok.
