Frankies first training class

Ok,
So we started our first therapy class last night. Frankie went to daycare all day, thought that would make him a little tired for a late night class.

The class had 3 other dogs in it. He was out of control. He does this little hop hop thing, along with little sheepie noises. He wanted to play with the dogs play with the instructor everything but pay attention to me. All this time I thought he was somewhat well behaved. He wouldn't sit, look at me nothing. I was so embarassed. I know he's young but he knows the stuff. The instructor came over to work with him and he did everything just fine for her

It can only get better. Train Train Train

Ah, he was good with trainer......what does that tell you? He can do it, he just needs someone he believes is in charge, not his good friend.

He will have to learn you are in charge and must be obeyed. He can do it, he's just getting mixed messages from you. Don't talk so much to him, he can't understand your language. Stand upright, breathe and act like a Drill Sargent or higher rank. You are in charge. This isn't a negotiation.

He must learn Mum has a whole new side to be admired.
