finally going to his new home tomorrow He is super sweetie, was just in bad shape so, we had to keep him for a while. He is one you just fall in love with, he went for a nursing home visit on Christmas Day! He is as perfect as they come... Ripple has a great home ready for him and we will miss him BUT, he is going to be so spoiled.... Anyway, my point is an email I got tonight from an adopter (ververup did Daphne's home check) This from Monica Daphne's Mom "Got Chinese food tonight & the fortune cookie said " Stop searching forever, happiness is right next to you." I looked next to me & sure enough, there was my greatest source of happiness....looking for an opportunity to steal my Chinese food. But, her favorite is still Panera's cheese bread. I have to keep that in the freezer when I get it." Then I remembered this is what it is all about! |

Thanks for your post
Heart warming!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
Your post gave me the shivers. So happy to hear Ripple is going to his forever home. Even knowing it is best for him, it is still hard. Hopefully when he meets his new owners you'll be able to witness his happiness. |
i am sure it must be hard to let go what a cutie you should be so proud of the work you do!! |
Gee, I can't imagine how hard it is, or having a dog that long so it can have a better home somewhere. That's awesome, and good to hear he's found a home! |
That is difficult with such a nice boy as he is. Sounds like he went to a great home. |
Congratulations on a job well done finding this needy dog a good home - your good works will mean a new wonderful life for him. Good job! |
Awwwwwwwe..... Yes, Joan and I know exactly how you feel. We fostered Winston for 4 months and he was the sweetest of the sweetest dogs. It was verrrrry hard to let him go.
:hugs: |
*sigh* so adorable, it's hard to let any of them go, and then comes a special one. |
He LOVED hsi new mommy and daddy....
He should be to his new house by early tomorrow afternoon! Hoping all his paperwork is correct for his flight!! |
Give yourself a lot of credit - you are placing these guys in perfect homes!!
Glad to hear that Daphne is still so spoiled. |
Ripple made it safely to Omaha!
Seems he was very fond of the glass elevator at the hotal last night too! Goof ball! This was Ripple's first night in foster care He has come soooooo far! Meeting the new folks! American Airlines did a wonderful job with his handling during his flight! |
I don't know what to say. I am speechless. Thank you for caring enough to take care of him, let him heal & for finding a forever home for him |
Thank you...he was SO worth it.
He is honestly one of the sweetest fosters we have ever had! Ok, so, yep...now I am crying! |
Unbelievable. You, indeed, are a savior of this good dog. I also had a foster for almost 5 months and she was in horrid shape, matted to the bone, broken back leg never fixed, urine burn so bad on her pads her paws were ulcerated, and the urine smell gagged me. Months later she was a gorgeous sheepdog and is in the best home in northern Kentucky - thanks to Ingrid's site. Fostering is so rewarding, but does so much to help our needy sheepdogs. Again, thanks for a job well done. |
Ripple is a lucky dog!!!
What a sweet boy and I hope he thrives in his new home |
We are so happy Ripple found his home, he really is just a great dog I remember at the playdate we all wanted to take him home, Frankie thought he would've been a great brother! As always keep up the good work and hope to see you guys soon now that the weather has finally straightened up! Here's to Ripple! and here's to Annabelle finding her furever home too! |
Ripple is so lucky, thank you for all your help...xxxx |
Thanks everybody....
Believe it or not Georgie was just speaking of Frankie! She is ready for another play date..... Annabelle said she would like to meet this Frankie boy! Ripple's new owners are thinking of adopting Annabelle BUT, she was quiet the goof ball when they met her..... |
