I have a beautiful sweet 3 year old male oes named buddi. I decided to double my fun and joy so I thought. The problem is my new 9 weeks old male oes is not being accepted by my Buddi. Buddi is a big mush and a big 110lb baby, who is petrified of the puppy. He hides and won't go near him, he stays in the basement and will only come up with much much prompting. It is breaking my heart to see this dog who is our angel so depressed and act like this. If the puppy goes to close to him he runs away and if the puppy chases him Buddi will go after him, so much so that the puppy has to play dead for Buddi to retreaet. I don't think that this new member is going to work out for us, especially since it is causing so much stress for Buddi. The problem is the puppy is adorable, and he comes from the same breeder that my Buddi came from I hate to part with him, but I don't want to hold onto the puppy for to long for fear of getting too attached to the wonderful puppy and for fear of Buddi's reaction. The other problem is if I send the puppy back to the breeder I face a heat embargo on the flight & may not be able to get the puppy back to soon for another person to purchase. Help any suggestions.
