Does anyone use it for their dogs? Do you put drops into their mouth or into their water/food? How long does it take to work? Do I need to do it for a few days before the day I need him to be calm or does it kick in straight away? |

I've been using Bach Rescue Remedy for years on myself and the dogs. It really works well. It pretty much works right away. You can put the drops in water or directly on the tongue if your pup will let you. I was able to put it directly on Sammy's tongue. She thought it was a game! |
Tried it here & never had any luck with it. It may depend on the dog. |
i have tried it for me and it works after about 10 drops, think a glass of sherry would have the same effect though. Why are you giving it to Ru? bless him....x sorry just thought of you trying to give Ru a glass of crofts original, sorry in a silly mood. its lack of chocolate.... |
Used it on dogs and found it wonderfull. Be good for you too to help settle you as well.
Available here, if you have a chemist or natropath that sells natural remedies you can actually have a specific Bach Flower essences mixed for a specific need. Rescue remedy is just a combination of the bach essences and only one example of it. For example I get done by the chemist a bach flower essence one made up for "Calm and Clear" used that one for years with the showring and starting them just to take the edge of excitement off them. So many different varities in the Bach flower essences that can be mixed for different situations. It's easier to use just dropped straight onto the tongue both for you and Ru. Start with one does the night before, followed by in the morning and just follow the dosage on the bottle till you go to classes or are training him. |
Thanks! I'll pick some up tomorrow. |
