Great, Summer thinks, we are going out the nice muddy garden! "No Summ, not now!" I said. So she turned her back on me and did that very slow wigglebum out of the kitchen. I went to pick up the plastic lid, "Wheres the Lid?" I said to no one in particular. The casual walk turned into a run for it. Little madam had craftily pinched the lid and I hadnt seen her do it. |

ah she is a smart one! |
That's pretty impressive! lol
Very smart |
Haha! Ru says "Excellent work, Summer!" |
Tiggy says "great job" too.
She also reminds all dog burglars that with smaller items (you know bottle tops etc) you can hide them right up the back of your tongue so that even if your Mom takes a quick peek in your mouth she wont notice. The bigger items, make a bee line for your bed, lie on said stolen item and look really, really well behaved, so your Mom thinks all her training is finally starting to pay off. Then you wait till Mom's gone to another room and chew up the stuff till its dead. |
We are familar with this tactic

hahahaha!!!! Norty little sheepie!! he he he!!!! |
Bella can do the "sheepie sneak" without looking guilty. Nigel looks like he is in trouble before he is caught. |
Yup, Chauncey is a pretty slick sheepie. Love's dish cloths, whenever he snatches one he heads for his bed. I have been standing in the kitchen not 2 feet from him and he made off with one. He really is a pretty good thief. If I go looking for it he will tuck it under him.
We also have a problem with him being a pick pocket. My sister likes an open style purse. When she comes to visit and we are not paying attention Chauncey will make off with her check book and cell phone, we notice when he's on his bed looking innocent. Other than teeth marks from where he carries it, no damage he just always takes his bounty to he bed in the family room. |
