I'm a wimp. Simon is ready to go to some events and trial but I'm scared. The new stuff might scare him(me). The paperwork(I think) that involves scares the pants off me. I don't know what I'm doing. Soooo for the new year, I'm starting a new me(maybe). I just asked for Kristine's help and now I'm asking for your help in getting started. Anyone have ideas on how to stop being a wimp and get going? |

talk with your instructor and see what they recommend. also pick a venue - like CPE where things are a bit more relaxed. our first trial we did one event, when it waas finished I left ithout even checkingt ot see if we qualified. we had a great day |
Welcome to the wimp club!!!!!
I am one of the founding mothers ~~~ but I can tell you that, with help and support, like we have on this forum, you WILL survive, learn and succeed!!! Kristine is one of the best mentors you could ever wish for..I am lucky to have Judi to hold my hand and smack me when I get to freaky...I try to return the favor!!!!! GOOD LUCK AND KEEP US POSTED OF ALL YOUR RIBBONS AND TROPHIES!!!! |
A mentor is the best but a friend to come along and laugh at, I mean with, its definitely with you is a good way to beat the wimpies.
Also ask "what is the worst possible thing that can happen?" Yep its st--f it up and look like a doofus. Not fun, but survivable. |

Oh, goodie!!! Let me go through my catalog of "worsts" and share a little later Of course, thanks to Sybil I may not have left you too many "firsts" to aspire too in the "absolute worst" department Dad's leaving in a few, rescue dog arriving in a few. No, no, not a foster. A former foster from two years ago who has her own wonderful home now. She's just staying over the holidays since she would be hard to board given her shyness. Kristine |
