1) Is videotaping of your agilty runs available for sale at trials? 2) If they are do you buy them(or would you if they were?) |

Kerry - there used to be someone who videotaped professionally in this area. You signed up (and paid) ahead of time. Not often available, though. And I haven't seen it since I brought Sybil out. Not sure if I have any of Mad even.
When it was available (this is back in the dark ages when I was running Belle ) I did sign up to be taped. Gladly. I have some great tapes of her. Of course, all on VHS! Better option: get your own video camera and offer to tape other people's runs (agree ahead of time to make sure there are no conflicts) in exchange for them taping yours. Works best with a trial buddy who maybe has a dog at a different jump height but same classes/level. Better yet bring long-suffering spouses, children, whatever is available to tape for you TRAIN THEM. Do not assume they have the slightest idea how to operate your camera (hi, Sunny!) or what to aim at (hi, Jan! ) And encourage them to use zoom, yet keep both you and the dog in the picture if possible (if handling a lot at a distance this gets harder). It helps A LOT. And it's nice to have. Kristine |
as if (I could get anyone in my family to come to a trial to tape me )
I was wondering why, actually, this isn't as active a business as photograghs - if not more so. |
Of commercially available, I've only seen still shots around here. No video. |
I would gladly pay....when Simon finally competes...which will be in the new year. |

If you've entered him anywhere <?> you can see in the premium if videotaping is offered. But I haven't seen it done for a long time. KB |
