sounds typical. Since its gotten cold out I actually have to go ourside and bring Morgan back in the house - he just wants to lay in the remaining snow. am glad we didn;t get more this weekend! |
I feel your pain! We had 26.3 inches of snow with drfits up to 7 fet high! The dogs are jumping in it, eating it, rolling in it, you name it. I wonder...how long can they stay out there without getting frostbite????
I dry them with the dryer when they come in but those snow balls stuck all over are one pain in the butt! |
Sheepies and snow nothing like it!! Sammy especially loved finding frozen "treats" beneath the snow.
I used to leave her lying on several thick towels in the mudroom until the snow melted. This help cut down on the messy floors and the constant mopping up. This winter I only have to contend with the little snowballs Max drags in. |
I would have a flood if I had a dog door!
As it is we try and limit the endless trips in and out, in and out.... I must say, after sledding in the snow yesterday, Chewie's whites got really clean! Just needed a face wash before our library visit. He wore the reindeer antlers, so the kids LOVED it ! It also was a reminder to trim the hair between his pads really well. Had quite a few ice balls yesterday. Good thing I did before going to town - they had sanded and salted the library parking lot and sidewalks very liberally! Yuck. |
Bella loves snow too. The only problem we have withher in the snow aside from the snow brought into the house is that she will take the throw Rug in front of the door outside to the spot where she likes to laydown. This is an annoyance but . . . ! If they weren't so cute it would be much easier to beat them |
