http://www.petango.com/Adopt/Dog-Old-En ... og-8141050 If interested, please contact the shelter directly. I don't know for sure, but they may prefer adopting out fairly locally. Please respect that if so. They've been in touch with Wisconsin OES Rescue and we will help them if called upon, but really I think they would prefer to adopt her out on their own and we need to respect that, so please only contact them if you are genuinely interested in adding her to your own family. She is in no danger. We've already let them know we will step in if needed. It would just be nice if she was in her own new family before Christmas Her name is Snowflake, which seems oddly fitting Sounds like a nice little girl. Thanks! Kristine |

They must get a lot of really large dogs in their shelter!
That is the 1st adult OES listing I have ever seen listing the size as "medium" I hope she finds a home. |
Well Dawn, maybe they read the standard?
Any chance she is related to your own "personal" bundle of energy Kristine? |

Any chance she is related to your own "personal" bundle of energy Kristine? Hm, good question. I don't know since previous owner was not forthcoming about where she acquired our little foster princess <g> but it is entirely possible. Snowflake is reportedly a little on the shy side which seems to be the order of the day for non-show lines around here. Not sure what's up with that. We get more than our share of rescues that originated in that part of the world. She's about six months older than Daph.... Chances are we'll never know. Kristine |
She looks adorable The mood I am in it is a good thing she is far away..... I would be there with a check, cash or credit card!!! |

I'm sorry. Snowflake would like everyone to know the going currency is DOG COOKIES! Start baking, baby! There *is* something about her. Kristine |
ALLLL RRRIGHT The oven is on and the mixer is running. Start a transport list!!!!! |
She looks just like my boy, Arthur. Right down to her pretty blue eyes. He's very high energy also.
I'm SO glad that I live far away. I would so love to have a little girl, but I think 2 is just right for the amount of house and land I own. |
It's too bad she is not in Michigan I would take her in a heartbeat. |
Oh my is she a cutie!
I bet she will be scooped up soon! |
I just tried the link and it says "animal no longer available".
Hopefully she was scooped up quickly. |

Hopefully she was scooped up quickly. I'll have Sunny double check, but suspect that was the case as most purebreds are very rare at most shelters around here Kristine |

We could easily place Daphne if all we listed was 2 year old spayed female... Kristine |

True But at least she doesn't. You gotta accentuate the positive and all that She may be placed anyway. Waiting to hear if app was approved. KB |

Ok, I give up...Kristine are you keeping the dog??? |
Simon's Mom wrote: Ok, I give up...Kristine are you keeping the dog???
Yes. She would have been wasted in a pet home. And, worse, returned repeatedly in all likelihood. There just aren't enough working homes in this breed Therein ends my fostering days, though. At least for the foreseeable future. There are limits. Dap...pardon me, DAZZLE pushes them all. Need some help with ILP name. Will start a different thread. Kristine |
I swear although it sounded like I knew what was going on I didn't!!! Even cooler Hoooorrrraaaayyyyyy!!!!!!! |
The word is Snowflake has been adopted
Kristine |
