Product reccomendation: air filtration
 So I took one home. Within a day, I noticed a significant improvement in the air quality in my room, and it continues to be really good, 5 months later. No more stale doggy smell. This is a really good thing, because the circulation in my house isn't the greatest.There is a car adaptor, too - so I can put this thing in my car to clean the air. | I too have the ecoquest air filter.
It does completely get rid of smells....while it is on. I used it in my bedroom which has doggy accidents embedded in the carpeting from the previous owners dogs.. We can't afford to replace the carpeting yet and have used solutions on the rug and cleaned the rug, but the smell always comes back. If I put the ecoquest in there there is no smell whatsoever. | Is it good for pet allergy use? My father-in-law has bad pet allergies, and we want to get a good air filter, so he can visit us in comfort.

| I'd like to think it would help. It's pretty good at keeping the dust down, but it still needs to be wiped out on the inside once in awhile. ~Katie. |
| We use airfilters that we picked up at HomeDepot - I believe that they are made by Honeywell. It definitely helps my springtime allergies! I also have some friends with allergies to cats and have noticed that they don't seem to have problems visiting (as long as I'm running the filter). |
| You know how when the sun shines in through the window and you see all sorts of dust partical floating around. There are virtually none with the air filter running. It seems to help me a lot with my allergies. |
I've often thought of getting one of those filters too, but there is always something more important to pick up...lol.... or I forget.  |
