On my way |
friend request sent, with a message of condolences as well. |
I did as well, it's a hard thing to get out of your head . I hope it at least helps the poor guy to know people care about what happened. |

no one can forget that story |

VERY hard to get out of your head. I think for many of us, its one of our worst nightmares, realized. I told the story to Adam, and he's getting a security system put in as a result. So I know it struck him very hard; as hard as it did me. |
Linus' Not Linus's The plural is LINUS' 4h grade english people, please! |
OMG. What is wrong with you people who sign in as a guest. I don't even care how the heck it is spelled. If you are so interested in grammar go correct some papers. Go pick a fight somewhere else!!!!! |

Agreed Wendy... That is the rudest thing I have ever seen.. Linus was shot in a break in right? This shoud only be a pace to support him... I am sorry |
Linus was an OES recovering from cancer surgery. He had 3 legs and most likely greeted the intruders with a toy in his mouth. They shot and killed him. The owner came home to his beloved OES cold and dead under a blanket in his kitchen.
This is hardly a place that needs a grammar lesson. |
Wendy you are absolutely right. Looks likes some "Guest" was trolling the boards last night or this morning, and posting negative comments where ever the could. A poor "Guest" indeed, if that is how you behave when visiting! Maybe Guest could help us spell the word consideration or polite or even irrelevant? |

Well said and I couldn't agree more... |

How about this guest? We will work on our grammer and you work on achieving a level of class that you are obviously lacking. It's apparent you know how to read a text book, so jump off the computer, leave your dark little room and experience life. Go out in the world and learn how to be a considerate, understanding, and kind person. Even the Grinch had a dog. |

Hey, guest: perhaps you'd be better off brushing up on your grammar skills (or English as you call it) since you're the one that is incorrect (and out of line but that's not the point I'm making). Apostrophe + "s" is the correct way to show possession in a word that ends in "s." "S" + apostrophe only works if the word in question is already plural. As Linus is singluar, your way is, of course, wrong. But thanks for the unnecessary and wrong advice. If you can keep up, try visiting this link for help in your future incorrect grammar corrections: http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/621/1 |

I was just about to post the exact same thing. |

I can't believe someone can be so Freakin annal! Trolling the boards as a GUEST should nto be allowed. I would love to know the identity to see what a no-life POS the poster is. Nothing better to do I guess. Has anyone heard any progress on the police finding the creeps that did the killing? |
Such a sad story and what a rude and disrespectful "Guest"!!! |

Probably teenagers who are bored with nothing else to do - responding to them only encourages them. |

What is 4h grade english? Shouldn't it be 4th grade english? |

Must be me then. We used to raise rabbits and the kids were in 4H, and we speak English.
After all this nonsense I just wanted to let you all know that they did appreciate our condolences. I am sure they are missing their boy every day. My heart just goes out to them and I sure hope the catch whoever did this. |
Thanks Wendy for letting us know about Linus' Facebook page. They have posted a thank you message on his wall. I'm hoping that our thoughts and prayers will bring them some comfort. |
I am overwhelmed by the kindness of strangers...as is Dan - Linus's dad. We are still struggling very much with the loss of our beloved boy Linus. I could never have imagined the connection I have had with Linus. We had him from a pup and he was always larger then life itself.
He leaves behind not only parents who adored him and nursed him back from a recent bout with cancer; but a truly loving sister in our daughter Layla. She was out of the country at the time of this tragedy and having to share this news across the globe was the worst kind of thing I have ever had to do. I appreciate each and everyone of you and your thoughts and prayers. I hope that some day I honor Linus as much as he as me. May God Bless, Sandra H. - Linus's Mom |
Hi Sandra, please feel free to join the forum whenever you feel ready
Big hugs to you & the family from the UK. |
Sandra--Continuing special thoughts and prayers for your family. |
The suspected burglars/killers have been captured and are going to court. http://www.wndu.com/hometop/headlines/95754094.html |
I guess the mystery guest isn't smarter than a 5th grader. |
Happy news though. They have adopted a rescue OES girl named Sadie. Linus sent them an Angel to help them heal the hole his murder left in their hearst. |
