I bought my house after my divorce 3 years ago, and it's been fun. It's my first house. There's always something, of course, but there's also no one telling me how to do stuff . . . if you know what I mean! 
When I moved in, I bought some of that Williams-Sonoma lemon hand soap and weeks later I went to use it again and realized that the smell was embedded in my mind as being related to the move and the stress of it all. To this day, I can't use that soap without panic setting in and finally Ijust threw it out. The funny thing is that I didn't realize at the time that I was so stressed out! Belle & I would help you move if we lived closer. |
| The thrills of house buying!! Congratulations, Paula!! It was an emotional rollercoaster the 2 times we have bought a house. There is so much to do and so much to keep up with, but once the move is over and you settle in, it is a wonderful feeling.
I look forward to hearing about your fosters and any that may steal your heart and stay forever.
