Sheepies at the Movies
The Character of "The Colonel" got us thinking - is he supposed to be a Sheepie? Certainly some of the sites I've looked at think so, but I can't for the life of me find a picute anywhere on the Web - what do y'all think? Also - what other famous OES's are out there? on OES-L we were talking about Sam the Sheepdog - remember him? he used to clock into work with a Coyote called Ralph....... |

| Theres a film called Digby the biggest old english sheepdog in the world.
It was on ITV a couple of months ago. In Cats & Dogs, theres a sheepdog in that - I cant think of his name!!. In the Glenn Close - 101 Dalmations live version - theres a cute old english in that - no name that I know of. There is a few more!!! - but for the life in me I cant think of them!!!! Not only is this a cute movie, but there's a great big fluffy OES running around... but I can't recall it's name. |
| Of course there is always "The Shaggy Dog" and "The Shaggy DA", and the Doris Day movie, "Please Don't Eat The Daisies" There is also a movie called "North" there is a very brief appearance of an OES in it. |

| The name of the Sheepdog in Cats and Dogs is Sam. (had to throw that in) Remember he has gas all the time in the movie??

| I also heard that "Serpico" the old Al Pacino movie features a Sheepie as his pet. I've rented it tonight and will keep you guys posted.
Oh and don't forget Labryinth the movie with David Bowie...features a Sheepie named Merlin.  |
