Someone, who also has a sheepie, told me she thinks it's in corilation to their stubborn-ness. If that's the case - he'll never turn, lol. |

You should post a picture. |
This is the most recent picture I have of him. You can kind of see the stripe of grey in his mid section and in other little spots. As you can see he's mostly black and then he's more salt and pepper/blue under that.
I can't seem to get the picture to upload on here, but here is the link to the picture: http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b114/LifeIsMusic82/myboys.jpg I just wonder if it's normal for him to take this long to change and if some don't. I know our first one was grey by the time he was a year. |
There's also this one from back in Feb. His patches weren't quite as defined then.

Check out my camera - Bingley is three and is still "black". We trimmed him a year ago and I expected him to look grey when it grew back in - nope! But I LOVE it! |
Aw - Bingley is very handsome!
Oh I love that Riley is mostly black...when I brush him in one direction he's black and in the other he's salt & pepper. I just wasn't sure if it was normal, lol. |
Chewie isn't black, but very dark. He's 3 1/2 now. Some of his litter are very silvery/blue, but not Chewie. That's fine, I really couldn't care less about his shade of grey. His wonderful personality and abilities are way more important to me
Here he is in his Ch picture: He is trimmed down now and more of the undercoat shows through, so he is less dark until the hairs grow back out! Him on the left - |
Yes...that's almost exactly what Riley looks like. Only when I shave or cut him down he's more salt and pepper. I love the black & white. Our other one was blue/white.
When I got Riley I always joked that I wish he'd stay black and white...now I kinda get the best of both worlds w/ the salt and pepper. |
