Oops forgot the link http://www.petfinder.com/pet.cgi?action ... mpl=&stat= |
It sounds like he was owner surrendered, in which case they have detailed info on him, and he does look like and italian spimone. They look amazingly like oes, with shorter fur, sharper muzzle and a few other differences. I believe this breed is in the genetic background of oes, as the italian spimone carries a genetic disease that is breed specific, and it has also turned up in oes. |
It looks as if Oliver has a tail. He is a cute guy and does resemble an OES. |
They look a lot like shorn OES, in my opinion. Here's an interesting site I found explaining what they are http://www.itspinone.com/what.html |
Hi All
I am in Atlanta & have kept tabs on this fella...I saw Oliver for the first time in an area rescue publication & saved that page Gee, he is cute! Oliver is in a good foster but needs his furever! They want him to have his own little uprights...he loves them If any of you want me to go visit or make contact in some way I would gladly help! Diane |
Oliver is still available, I checked him out.....he's very cute. My son is looking for an OES but Oliver needs a home with kids and pets; Brendan has neither. I hope someone takes him soon. |

A happy Easter for Oliver |
