"Ice tea" or "Iced Tea"?

In our world it has always been " Ice Tea" . Not sure which is correct though  |
| Sweet tea! I believe it is Iced Tea, but that is a dirty word in my opinion.....and no sweet n low is not a viable option in my world.... |
| We all say "ice tea" here, but the correct term is "iced tea" as the tea is "iced" down after brewing. |
| 'Ice Cream' used to be 'Iced Cream' so my thought is that it should be 'Iced Tea' but people probably don't bother to say it properly, opting for the more modern 'Ice Tea'. |

Nooooooooooooooo Mcdonalds has the best sweet tea....mmmmmmm....want some now....... that is one of the hardest parts of being away from Ga, most of the places we have lived lately don't carry sweet tea in very many restaurants.  |
| In my mind, I know the correct way is "iced" and if I write it, it's always "iced" but it comes out of my mouth "ice" when I order it. Oddly, though, if I order an iced coffee, that always comes out correctly. |

| Joan likes hers without sweetener, so ordering in the south is always amusing to me. Unsweet tea. The adjective sweet is added to the tea when the sugar goes in, but if you don't add the sugar you must negate the adjective. Good thing there isn't sour tea, then there'd be sweet unsour tea and sour unsweet tea and even unsweet unsour tea.

| It's Iced Tea but it doesn't always come out that way when you're saying it. And yes, here in the south, it's assumed it is iced and you order it sweet or unsweet.
Although, the past few years I've taken to ordering "half and half" tea, like Alison, as the sweet is just too sweet, but I don't want to have to add sugar at the table to the unsweet because it doesn't dissolve. Yuk.  |

| LOL, this is funny. I too, tested it out and I think it comes out of my mouth as Ice Tea. But, I spell it Iced Tea.
Having to say a letter d right next to a t is pretty tough. 
I like the sweet tea - and yes, even at McDonalds.  I had some Sunday, on our b-day trip up to go shopping!
I would prefer it a little less sweet (OK, my tastebuds LOVE it all sweet...  ) and if I get it in the McDonalds, I mix it half/half. I hate trying to dissolve sugar in the unsweetened stuff too. |

Iced Coffee! ...but I pronounce it as "LargeIceCoffeeWithCreamDarkNoSugarAboutHalfTheIcePlease"
Otherwise I get a drink with 3 sips of super light coffee. Do you all get iced coffee served with all of the cream at the bottom of the cup and you have to twirl it around so that it mixes? |
