We had an early snow and its gone, warmed up and one of the ponds we pass on our quad run has open water. We thought we'd swing down that way and let them get a drink, but little did we know Samson had other ideas. He launched himself of a 7 foot high bank into the pond at a dead run. First we thought he didn't see it but we were wrong He got out of the pond to a severe scolding from Gracie (she thought he was crazy) only to run back up the hill and jump again. Now it was a cool day to say the least but seemed to be of no consequence to Sammy..lol. When we got home Gracie cuddled up with Samson and went to sleep, an hour later there was one dog and a ferret sleeping on Samson. So nice to see him happy and gaining some serious muscle and weight, I swear he bounces everywhere he goes...lol.
Need to dig out the camera, renovation are tough on the old memory can't remember where anything is. Will definitely have to get some shots of that one.
Is this common, do OES's like the water? We know Samson thinks he is a lap dog and tries so hard to do what the other dogs do. He has walked away with the coffee table on his back twice..lol. Life is never dull around here. |
