Sheepdogs in Florida?

| There are a few sheepies that live in Florida...I went to our groomers last Thursday to see if they could get me a decent dematting comb and oddly enough, there was an OES in the back. When I bring Sam back for a trim next week, I will ask about the owners and whether I can contact them. I think it would be fun for Samantha to have a playmate as big as her!
We live in St Pete Beach, which is west of Tampa. I think there is another rescue sheepie living in Daytona Beach or somewhere around there. They posted to the forum a few months ago. And there is one around the Orlando area...I too was interested in finding out if there were any OES in Florida... We are known in the neighborhood as "The family with the sheepdog"  ! |
| I know you were suprised to see the other OES. We moved here a year ago there are two others on our street, probably the only two in Melboune. I took Roger to visit Edy DykstraBlum last week in Ocala to have him evaluated, she is a long time breeder and AKC judge, I am getting to the point, any way it turns out she is the president of the Florida OES club and they are going to get the club going again and plan the first meeting in April. I hope we bring our dogs to the meetings. This may be a good place to meet and visit. Any way its nice to talk with you. |
| My inlaws just came back from visiting my sister in law in Florida. She lives near Tampa. When they were their my mother in law happened to look out the window and saw the neighbor walking her sheepdog. She got excited and went out to tell them that her daughter in law had one and struck up a conversation with them. I'm going to e-mail my sister in law and have her write down the address of this website if their interested. |

hey i live in cocoa have 4 acres fenced in and teach agility you are always welcome if you want your dog to get dirty have a pond too  my boys would love some company |

I have a sheepdog FROM Florida. But I don't think that's what you were asking.  Rudy now lives in beautiful Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada...only a slight difference from his early days in/near Ft. Lauderdale.  |
